The Complete Tomb of the Rabbit King!

The collected Tomb of the Rabbit king, as published in From Wonderland With Love from Fantagraphics. Actually, a little bit better imho, as there are no wide, deep purple borders around the artwork.

Hang on, I think I know what the editor was going for, there…!

New site design

I went and redesigned the site to focus on publishing comics here. First up is the story Tomb Of The Rabbit King which will be serialised every Friday until X-mas. It has previously been published in now-defunct Danish comics monthly Free Comics, and Fantagraphics’ anthology “From Wonderland with Love“.

Starting Tuesday I’ll run Maxi which I made ages ago for a solo exhibition, originals are 100x75cm. Once that has run its length, Tuesday comics will be a seasonal-themed story aimed at post-apocalypse/zombie/gay afficionados. Ahem. More on that later!

All of this republication is a means of buffering while I work on next year’s feature, a large scale graphic novel from a script by Johan F Krarup. The working title of the series is “Turtle”, but that’ll change before I start publishing it here, starting on the first Friday of 2011!

Karriere moves

For those in the area, Copenhagen’s Karriere Bar is the place to be on Friday night.
Celebrating the release of From Wonderland With Love, an anthology of Danish comics published by Aben Maler/Fantagraphics Books, there shall be much chatting up and sipping of wine, continental style.

Swing them Horns, Bunny-Boy!

\'Tomb of the Rabbit King\' sketches

This is sort of the sequel to yesterday’s post; some more sketches for ‘Tomb of the Rabbit King’.

The skull may be so-so, but I really like the crazed look in the metallized Rabbit King’s eye (and the zipper, wich never really came through in the comic) – and once I’d made this sketch of the little rabbit giving the horned hand, the image just had to get on the page!
