I had drawn the outlines of today’s comic when a thought suddenly struck: “Isn’t this a complete ripoff of Franquin‘s Idées Noires?!” It took me a good half hour to ascertain that no, my idea had not been deemed black enough by the master to be included in his work — my standards, however, are just low enough that I’m happy to present it here:
