Tupilaq

I don’t even remember where this came from. The text-in-mouth (some awkward form of speech balloon?) reads “tupilak“, a Greenlandic monster of myth. The distorted limbs and grimacing face must have reminded me of the carved tupilak figurines I have seen in photos.

Another possible explanation is given in the parenthesized text below, reading “a very uncomfortable yoga-position”.

Oopsie! Looks like I skipped a full week in my Sketch of the Day schedule. Blame it on my font manager for crashing, blame it on the turbulence of vacation time, or blame it on the boogie.

This one is another of my Doodle Challenge sketches, and turned out to be a quite nice little drawing. Like with most of these things, the posture is mmore than a bit forced, but anything goes to fit the outline.
